Blue ammonia partnership signed between JM and thyssenkrupp

Johnson Matthey (JM) and thyssenkrupp Uhde will collaborate to produce an integrated solution for blue ammonia technology, using JM’s hydrogen expertise.

Under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), they will combine the uhde™ ammonia process and JM’s LCH™ hydrogen technology, to enable the production of blue ammonia with up to 99% CO2 capture.
