Bosch and PowerCell to collaborate on fuel cell stacks

Robert Bosch has announced will manufacture the fuel cell stack S3 for PowerCell under new agreement.

Therefore, PowerCell can increase its production capacity and focus on scaling up the assembly and deliveries of fuel cell systems, along with developing the next generation of fuel cell stacks.

The agreement gives Bosch the right to manufacture and sell PowerCell S3 for use in the automotive market, PowerCell having full rights for all other applications and segments. Bosch will add PowerCell’s volumes of S3 to its own production, with manufacturing taking place in Germany and Bosch delivering tested and activated 100kW fuel cell stacks to PowerCell’s facility in Gothenburg, Sweden.
