Breakthrough technology to enable hydrogen production of below $1.50/kg in Australia

Optimisation of hydrogen production technology could be crucial in unlocking cost-competitive green hydrogen and  this could now be feasible with Hysata’s new innovative technology.

Based in Australia, Hysata’s capillary-fed electrolysis cell is capable of producing green hydrogen from water at 98% cell energy efficiency which according to the company is well above IRENA’s 2050 target.

In doing so, this means that green hydrogen using the company’s technology can now be achieved and can support Australia’s ambitions of reducing the cost of green hydrogen to support its wider adoption.
