Californian closed-loop project to produce 11,000kg of green hydrogen daily

California’s first closed-loop green hydrogen ecosystem has today (September 10) been unveiled– and it could produce up to 11,000kg of green hydrogen daily.

SG H2 Energy, the City of Lancaster and Iwatani have joined forces on the effort that is set to produce green hydrogen from wastepaper and recycled water by quarter three 2023.

Clean energy company SG H2 Energy will lead the hydrogen production aspect of the project, whilst Iwatani will head the transportation aspect of the project.
