Calls for market consultation on Danish hydrogen infrastructure

The Danish Energy Agency, Evida and Energinet have made calls to hydrogen and power-to-X (PtX) stakeholders to begin market dialogue about their interest and need for hydrogen infrastructure in Denmark.

Companies and projects planning to produce or use hydrogen have been invited to complete a survey by September 12, 2022, to help the operators prepare for hydrogen infrastructure.

The calls for market interest comes after the Danish Government in March this year (2022) unveiled plans to reach up to 6GW of electrolysis capacity by 2030 under the national Power-to-X Strategy that hopes to pave the way for a public tender worth DKK 1.25bn ($166.8m).
