Canadian hydrogen and methanol solutions firm, Azolla Hydrogen, has partnered with California State University, Los Angeles (Cal State LA) to accelerate a demonstration project at the university’s Hydrogen Research and Fuelling Facility (HRFF).
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Azolla and Cal State LA aligns with the company’s strategic plan to expand its operations into the US and boost the opening of its Los Angeles operation.
Azolla Hydrogen’s Biodrome 225 unit, which it claims produces 225kg of low greenhouse gas (GHG) emission hydrogen daily from bio-methanol feedstock and deionised water, will be integrated into the existing HRFF fuelling station infrastructure.
