Carburos Metálicos fuels Hyundai’s hydrogen-powered fuel cell vehicle

Carburos Metálicos has announced it has supplied the renewable hydrogen that the Hyundai NEXO will be using in various demonstrations.

At the Spanish companies Alsa maintenance centre in Torrejón de Ardoz, Spain, it will carry out refuelling on the Hyundai NEXO via its hydrogenerator that it installed last year, demonstrating the speed of hydrogen refuelling.

The hydrogenerator serves the regular hydrogen urban bus line that operates in the Community of Madrid. Despite it being designed to public transport vehicles, it can be configured to recharge zero emission cars, such as the Hyundai model, utilising a fuel cell.
