Cepsa signs renewable energy supply agreement for Spanish green hydrogen projects

Cepsa has signed an agreement for the long-term supply of renewable energy from Grupo Ibereólica Renovables for its green hydrogen plants in Andalusia, Spain.

Set to be supplied from nine wind, four photovoltaic and two hybrid wind-photovoltaic projects currently being developed by Grupo Ibereólica Renovables in Castilla y León and Extremadura, amounting to 5GW, the energy will be supplied to the company’s industrial centres in southern Spain.

With the projects currently at an advanced planning stage they are expected to be ready for operation in 2026.
