Chart Industries’ liquid hydrogen trailers receive safety certification from KGS

Chart Industries has received Korean Gas Safety (KGS) certification and approval for its liquid hydrogen (LH2) bulk transport trailers.

Chart built the trailers in Theodore, Alabama, the US, and have become the ‘first and only’ supplier with a LH2 trailer design currently approved to serve the growing demand in the South Korean market.

The LH2 bulk trailers boast over 3,100kg of payload and they have been specifically tailored to meet Korean regulations, working with KGS to ensure safety requirements were met and exceeded.
