Cheshire East Council shortlisted for climate award for the first hydrogen refuelling station in the North West, UK

Hydrogen projects and developments in the UK continue to be recognised for awards with Chester East Council being shortlisted for a climate response award by the Local Government Chronicles (LGC) for its green hydrogen refuelling compound.

Installed at Cheshire East’s environmental hub in Middlewich, UK, the facility produces green hydrogen using an electrolyser connected to solar panels.

This is also recognised as the first hydrogen refuelling station in the North West.
