Chile offers electrolyser manufacturers up to $10m to build a plant in the country

Chile plans to support hydrogen electrolyser and component manufacturers with up to $10m to build factories in the nation.

State-owned Production Development Corporation (CORFO) on Friday (May 17) opened a call for proposals for the installation of electrolyser factories and assembly plants in Chile.

Having launched a call for information last year (2023), CORFO received six expressions of interest for plants with annual production capacity between 500MW and 1GW, estimating investments between $50m and $100m.
