Cipher Neutron to explore supplying AEM electrolysers to Canadian metals project

Canadian-based Cipher Neutron (CN) could supply Strategic Resources’ BlackRock project with AEM electrolysers to decarbonise metals processing under a new agreement.

The BlackRock Project is a mine, concentrator and metallurgical facility project for the production of vanadium, titanium and iron, which is intended to demonstrate greenhouse gas (GHG) reductions with technologies in Québec.

With the metallurgical facility, planned for the Port of Saguenay, the agreement between CN and Strategic explore the potential of CN’s AEM electrolysers being used in a direct reduction plant.
