Over the course of the weekend (11-13 June) leaders of the Group of Seven (G7) gathered in Carbis Bay, Cornwall to help the world fight to build back better from coronavirus and create a greener, more prosperous future.
Among the other key topics of discussion at the Summit were climate change and decarbonisation – another critical issue that the hydrogen industry is at the heart of, with its expertise, solutions and increasing efforts to make the world a better place.
Highlighting the importance of such changes, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, said, “Protecting our planet is the most important thing we as leaders can do for our people. There is a direct relationship between reducing emissions, restoring nature, creating jobs and ensuring long-term economic growth.
