Consortium to explore hydrogen refuelling solutions for Hungary

Hy-Hybrid Energy, GOLDI Mobility and Purification Equipment Research Institute of CSIC, China (PERIC) have joined forces to explore hydrogen refuelling solutions for Hungary.

Last week (31st Oct) the consortium said they will work together to accelerate the adoption of hydrogen stations for the heavy-duty market and optimise overall system costs.

The announcement follows GOLDI and Hy-Hybrid Energy’s efforts to develop the first hydrogen fuel cell bus in Hungary, thought to be the first in the country.

Dr. Naveed Akhtar, CEO of Hy-Hybrid Energy, said, “While we are moving forward in our first fuel cell bus development project for Hungary, it is the right time to start planning for refuelling out buses. We believe this cooperation will become successful as we move forward.”
