Construction starts on Lhyfe’s German 10MW green hydrogen plant

Lhyfe has started construction on its four-tonne-per-day green hydrogen plant in the German city of Schwäbisch Gmünd.

Billed as the largest green hydrogen plant in the state of Baden-Württemberg, hydrogen initially will be supplied to the H2-Aspen industrial park and a JET H2 hydrogen refuelling station.

The 10MW plant has received funding from the German state, while being part of the Hydrogen For Innovative Vehicles (HyFIVE) project, received a €6.4m ($6.8m) European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) grant.
