Cummins displays hydrogen internal combustion engine at ACT Expo

Cummins and Accelera™ by Cummins have showcased their technologies at the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo, such as the hydrogen internal combustion engine (H2-ICE) hydrogen-powered concept truck.

On show will be various technologies across the hydrogen value chain, including electrolysers to produce hydrogen that can power both a H2-ICE truck and a fuel cell electric powertrain.

The X15H H2-ICE features a 700-bar pressure 80kg capacity hydrogen storage system and a range of more than 500 miles, with up to 500 horsepower.
