Cummins has been selected by Atura Power to design and manufacture a 20MW electrolyser system for the Niagara Hydrogen Centre in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
H2 View understands, the Cummins PEM electrolyser system is set to be manufactured at its Mississauga, Ontario facility, before becoming the centrepiece of the Atura’s Niagara Hydrogen Centre.
The centre will use renewable hydroelectricity to power the electrolyser. Hydrogen produced from the site is expected to be provided to industrial customers for immediate consumption, as well as being transported and blended into the fuel steam at Atura’s Halton Hills Generating Station.
