Daimler Truck to optimise hydrogen vehicles with Siemens software
Daimler Truck will explore and optimise e-mobility propulsion and energy management systems, including hydrogen technology, with Siemens’ STAR-CCM+™ software, the vehicle manufacturer confirmed today (Feb 15).
Part of Siemens’ Xcelerator portfolio, the STAR-CCM+™ software will provide Daimler Truck with a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) solution to evolve its computer aided engineering (CAE) development process to a full digital twin-driven multiphysics environment.
In addition to the above, Siemens and Daimler Truck will also work together to train young engineers to create high-level simulation specialists to support Daimler Trucks in the future.
