Daimler Trucks to split from Mercedes-Benz to realign focus on transformative technologies

Daimler, a group that has been ever present in the race for hydrogen and fuel cell mobility has revealed today (Oct 1) that its truck division will split from Mercedes-Benz.

Although already significant in the mobility industry, this could also shake the hydrogen market with Daimler recently putting great emphasis on developing hydrogen mobility solutions.

This saw the creation of cellcentric between Volvo and the group earlier this year.
