Hydrogen Europe has said that the “Fit for 55 Package” must be a fit for purpose framework that delivers an effective and future-proof achievement of the EU’s climate targets.
Discussing the European Commission’s impending Fit for 55 Package, Hydrogen Europe suggests that developing a clean hydrogen economy will be instrumental in making the package a success as its builds the basis for an accelerated and cost-efficient shift to climate friendly technologies such as hydrogen.
Hydrogen marks the dawn of a new era where coal, oil and gas can be replaced by hydrogen being multitalented as a renewably produced energy vector, fuel and chemical feedstock.
