Dunkirk public transport network to receive 10 hydrogen-powered buses from SAFRA

SAFRA has announced it will supply 10 hydrogen-powered buses to the Dunkirk Grand Littoral Urban Community for its public transport network.

French company SAFRA will deliver its new-generation HYCITY® bus ready to be utilised in the Dunkirk, France, network for 2024, complemented by a three-year full maintenance contract for the vehicles.

The Dunkirk network is operated by Dunkirk transport company and extensions (STDE), part of the TRANSDEV group, and boasts 162 buses with 98 running on BIOGNV and three electrics.
