Ecolectro reaches efficiency milestone in PFAS-free AEM electrolysers

Start-up company Ecolectro has achieved a breakthrough in its anion exchange membrane (AEM) electrolysers, demonstrating cell efficiencies of more than 74%.

Performing at high hydrogen production rates, without using PFAS, iridium or titanium components, the efficiencies reached over 74% enabling the “economic viability of electrolysis at different electricity costs.”
