EET Hydrogen commences FEED study of 1,000MW hydrogen project

EET Hydrogen has announced the Front End Engineering & Design (FEED) of its HPP2 hydrogen production project at Stanlow site in Cheshire, UK, has begun.

The company has also rebranded from Vertex Hydrogen Limited (VHL) to EET Hydrogen as it intends to move from being an Essar Oil UK (EOUK) subsidiary to a sister company and become a standalone pillar of the Essar Energy Transition (EET) portfolio.

VHL will still directly own and focus on its HPP1 and HPP2 projects, but under the EET branding the organisation will develop other hydrogen related businesses.
