Elcogen and KSOE sign MoU to drive SOFC uptake in shipping

Elcogen has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Korea Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering (KSOE).

The MoU covers close R&D collaboration in green hydrogen production, with Elcogen set to supply its solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) and solid oxide electrolyser cell (SOEC) technology.

KSOE is a member of the Hyundai Industries Group (HHI Group) and Fraunhofer Institute for Ceramic Technologies and Systems (IKTS), known for developing various fuel cell stack designs.
