Electrolyser safety and quality is imperative to clean hydrogen build-out, says whitepaper

Balancing electrolyser safety and quality is imperative to the global clean hydrogen build-out, according to a Baker Hughes whitepaper.

The Ensuring Process Safety and Product Quality in Water Electrolysis Using Oxygen, Hydrogen and Moisture Analysers paper, hosted on H2 View said, “A slight misstep in this intricate dance can disrupt its entire performance, jeopardising equipment and personal safety.”

“In-line analysers are vital in achieving this goal by providing continuous monitoring and real-time data on critical parameters like moisture and oxygen content.”

During electrolysis, there must be a perfect separation between hydrogen and oxygen, meaning continuous and accurate monitoring of the gases and moisture content becomes essential.
