Elixir Energy reveals details on Mongolian green hydrogen project that could supply Chinese demand

Elixir Energy has revealed details of Mongolia’s “first” green hydrogen project which could see export to China.

With the concept for the Gobi H2 project having already been presented, Elixir says it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Japan’s Terras Energy, previously SB Energy Corp. – 85% owned by Toyota Tsusho Corp.

The company has said the partnership with Terras is now maturing and the two aim to enter into a 50/50 binding incorporated joint venture later this year (2023) which would coincide with the front-end engineering and design (FEED) stage of a green hydrogen pilot project.
