On a mission to produce green hydrogen cheaper than fossil fuels, Enapter has today launched a crowdfunding campaign as it takes steps towards mass production of its technology.
The hydrogen technology specialist develops decentralised hydrogen generators (electrolysers) and hopes investments will support Enapter’s development in the industrial mass production of the AEM electrolyser.
The crowdfunded asset investment has been approved by BaFin, the financial supervisory authority, in Germany.
“Hydrogen produced from solar and wind power will become the oil of the 21st century,” said Sebastian-Justus Schmidt, majority owner of Enapter. “Our mission is to produce green hydrogen cheaper than fossil fuels.”
