Enapter wins seven-figure order for three AEM electrolyser units

Enapter has received its largest single order for three 1MW AEM Nexus 1000 units from Italy.

Boasting 420 modular AEM stacks forming a complete multicore system capable of producing 450kg of hydrogen per day, the solutions will be delivered to CFFT SpA.

Operating a harbour near Rome, CFFT will use the electrolysers in a hydrogen refuelling system and operate them with sustainably generated electricity.

The AEM Nexus 1000 can produce green hydrogen on an industrial scale, due to its “market leading operational flexibility and reactivity to intermittent renewables.” The electrolyser container can also avoid the use of costly materials such as iridium.
