EnergyAustralia gives green light on 300MW hydrogen and gas power plant

EnergyAustralia has given the green light on Australia’s first net zero emissions, 300MW hydrogen and gas plant.

The Tallawarra B power station will be expanded to utilise a blend of green hydrogen and natural gas with the plants greenhouse gas emissions set to be fully offset over its operational life.

This could see the 300MW power station supply reliable power to New South Wales homes and businesses in time for the summer of 2023-2024.
