Engineering for waste-to-hydrogen tech at Rome Hydrogen Valley kicks off

The engineering phase of the Hydrogen Valley project in Rome, Italy has kicked off, which seeks to integrate waste-to-hydrogen technology under the IPCEI Hy2Use initiative.

Subsidiary of NextChem, MyRechemical has commenced the engineering of waste conversion to Circular Gas™ which is set to be used as a feedstock for the production of hydrogen and ethanol.

Expected to be completed in 2023, MyRechemical’s conversion technology is said to allow the recovery of waste that cannot be mechanically recycled, as well as other types of non-recyclable dry waste.
