Envision Energy and BASF plan to enhance green hydrogen-based e-methanol production

China’s Envision Energy is collaborating with BASF Process Catalysts to enhance the efficiency of producing e-methanol from green hydrogen and carbon dioxide.

The Chinese wind turbine and energy management company will integrate BASF’s SYNSPIRE™ technology with its energy management system to boost efficiency of the catalyst technology.

Envision’s EnOS AIoT operating system is hoped to act as a “conductor of the energy concerto” and aid the optimisation of chemical plants.
