Equinor and Linde collaborate on hydrogen project set to support German-Dutch pipeline ambitions

Equinor and Linde have signed an agreement on the H2M Eemshaven low carbon hydrogen project based in the Netherlands.

Under the agreement, the two companies will develop the project as partners, with Equinor securing access to carbon transport and storage capacity and offer low-carbon hydrogen to the market.

Linde will build, co-own and operate the hydrogen production and carbon capture and transfer facility in the Eemshaven industrial area. The facility will reform natural gas from the Norwegian continental shelf to low-carbon hydrogen with CO2 capture and storage (CCS).
