European Commission formally adopts renewable hydrogen definition legislation

The European Commission has today (June 20) formally adopted two delegated acts outlining its detailed rules on the EU definition of renewable hydrogen.

Following a period of scrutiny by the European Parliament and Council, the final texts remain unchanged from the draft acts adopted by the Commission in February this year (2023), seeing the rules enter force 20 days after today’s publication (July 10).
