Everfuel to take majority stake in H2 Fuel Norway and change company name

Everfuel will take a majority stake in H2 Fuel Norway, a fully owned company of Nel, and change the company name to Everfuel Norway Retail as part of a newly signed agreement.

Nel ASA and Everfuel today (25th Nov) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the agreement which will see Everfuel Norway Retail build, own and operate hydrogen fueling stations in Norway, starting in Oslo.

“Becoming part of Everfuel’s activities in Norway is a natural next step for H2Fuel, and I look forward to continue leading the company’s efforts in developing the hydrogen retail market in Norway,” said Helge Skaarberg Holen, Managing Director of H2Fuel.

Everfuel targets an investment of NOK 26 million (€2.5m) in H2Fuel, resulting in a 51% ownership share in the company.
