Hydrogen production could become a key factor in the Nine Mile Point nuclear station in Oswego, US.
To support this concept, the US Department of Energy (DOE) has provided a grant to Exelon Generation to explore the potential benefits of onsite hydrogen production at the nuclear station – this is known as pink hydrogen.
