Firm order of hydrogen conversion kits for US regional airline

Californian aviation company Universal Hydrogen and Massachusetts-based Connect Airlines on Wednesday (June 8) announced a firm order to convert 75 ATR 72-600 regional aircraft to be powered by green hydrogen.

The order comes after the companies announced the signing of a Letter of Intent (LoI) to create the US’ ‘first zero-emission airline’ in 2021.
