First Hydrogen plans North American FCEV deployment and production

Following successful UK trials of its hydrogen-powered fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs), First Hydrogen has set its sights on North American deployment.

Today (December 19) launching its North American programme, the company announced intentions to develop two additional demonstrator FCEVS for fleet customers in the region.

First Hydrogen plans to build a vehicle assembly facility in Quebec, with annual production capacity for up to 25,000 vehicles. It will sit alongside its previously announced 35MW green hydrogen production plant in Shawinigan.
