FirstElement Fuel opens 41st public refuelling station in California

FirstElement Fuel (FEF) has opened its 41st public high-capacity hydrogen refuelling station in California, US.

Equipped with four dispensers, the station in Oakland has capacity for 1,600kg of hydrogen per day, which the company says is just its ninth station at such output.

Partly funded by the California Energy Commission (CEC), the company says overcame “many challenges” to develop, permit and open the station which is hoped to provide access to hydrogen refuelling in a disadvantaged community.
