Fortescue Future Industries given green light for $650m electrolyser production facility

Fortescue Future Industries (FFI) has revealed today (Nov 17) that it has been given the green light to develop a world leading electrolyser facility to boost hydrogen production in Australia.

Set to be based in Gladstone, the multi-gigawatt-scale electrolyser factory will have an initial capacity of 2GW per annum and be developed with an initial investment of $83m.
