FORVIA has announced it will supply its Type IV hydrogen storage systems to ‘major’ automotive manufacturer after the awarding of a contract.
The storage systems will be used for medium-duty commercial trucks in the North American market, with production expected to begin in 2025.
FORVIA’s Type IV tanks are made with a carbon fibre winding, designed to store hydrogen gas and well suited for applications requiring higher pressure and more intensive use, such as truck applications.
