Four Newfoundland and Labrador wind-to-hydrogen projects backed by government

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador has backed four companies looking to establish wind-to-green hydrogen and ammonia projects in the Canadian Province.

On Wednesday (August 30), the Minister of Industry, Energy and Technology, Andrew Parsons, revealed EverWind NL Company, Exploits Valley Renewable Energy Corporation, Toqlukuti’k Wind and Hydrogen Ltd., and World Energy GH2, would receive Wind Application Recommendation letters following a call for bids for wind-hydrogen developments.

The letters give the companies the right to pursue the development of their respective projects and can proceed through the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Crown application approval process.
