Frankfurt orders 10 more hydrogen-powered Solaris buses

Frankfurt’s public transport management company In-der-City-Bus (ICB) is set to receive 10 hydrogen-powered Solaris buses as part of an €6.5m ($7m) investment.

There are already 13 of Solaris’ Urbino 12 hydrogen vehicles running in the German city and this second batch is due to be delivered in Q1 2024. The project is being funded with up to €2.88m ($3.1m) from the Federal Ministry for Digital Affairs and Transport.
