FuelCell Energy enters into collaborative agreement with E.ON

FuelCell Energy, Inc. has entered into a collaboration agreement with Germany-based E.ON Business Solutions for the advancement of its fuel cell multi-featured platform in Europe.

E.ON currently owns two FuelCell Energy fuel cell plants in Germany, a 1.4 megawatt (MW) SureSource 1500) plant located at its German headquarters and production facility of FRIATEC AG in Mannheim, and one 0.4MW plant located at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Frankfurt.

The Energy generated by FuelCell Energy plants is delivered with little pollutants and low carbon dioxide. In applications such as wastewater treatment plants, the fuel is 100% renewable.

FuelCell Energy’s plant have the ability to supply clean and continuous power, as well as useable steam, heat and hydrogen for its customers.
