Gascade and Ontras will establish a new hydrogen hub for Eastern Germany with its pipeline grid set to cover 475km from 2026.
It is expected that the new hydrogen hub will create a strong platform for hydrogen industries in the region and, to date, is the largest planned hydrogen project in Eastern Germany, says the company.
In addition to this, the hydrogen hub will help link projects in the region from innovative production projects to the consumers looking to decarbonise its industry.
