Exclusive: GenHydro’s mission to produce 20kg of hydrogen an hour at ‘ground-breaking’ costs

When Eric Schraud first took an interest in hydrogen vehicles just over a decade ago, never did he imagine that he would now be the founder and CEO of a company which is looking to become a highly efficient and highly economical means to transition into a hydrogen economy on a globe scale.

US-based GenHydro is exactly what he brought to life with his passion, a company which is now looking to produce over 20kg of green hydrogen an hour, at a ground-breaking cost of $1.20/kg, with its GenHydro™ reactor system.

To deliver on its great potential, green hydrogen must meet certain cost reduction milestones to comprehensively undermine the case for continued fossil fuel use. Already in the US, the Department of Energy has unveiled plans to slash costs down by 80% this decade – and now GenHydro wants to do the same.
