German Government to invest €9bn in National Hydrogen Strategy

Yesterday, the German Government announced its intentions to invest €9bn into making hydrogen a marketable fuel across the country through Germany’s National Hydrogen Strategy.

Now approved, the strategy aims to make Germany the world’s leading provider of modern hydrogen technologies.

The German Government will support such hydrogen technologies so they can quickly prove their value on the market and establish their own value chains.

From the €9bn investment, €7bn will be used for promoting hydrogen technology across the country, while the other €2bn will be designated for international partnerships.
