Grant agreements for successful projects under the €800m pilot European Hydrogen Bank auction round will be signed by November 2024 at the latest.
Having received 132 bids from 17 European countries totalling 8.5GW of production capacity, the total support requested “far exceeds” the available €800m budget.
Now, the European Executive Agency for Climate, Infrastructure and Environment (CINEA) is checking the admissibility and eligibility of the bids, which will be ranked according to price.
