Green ammonia import terminal to open in Liverpool

StanlowTerminals has announced a new open access import terminal for green ammonia in the Port of Liverpool. 

The development is part of the newly launched Essar Energy Transition (EET), which plans to invest up to €3.6bn (£3.18bn) in developing low-carbon energy projects worldwide.  

It will be at the heart of the global hydrogen energy transition and provide the connecting infrastructure to enable significant volumes of green ammonia to be imported into the UK.
