Green hydrogen plans for Morocco revealed

Africa-focused transitional energy group, Chariot, Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), and Oort Energy have today (November 4) announced they will collaborate on green hydrogen projects in Morocco.

H2 View understands, the partners plan to initially run proof of concept projects that would use Oort’s PEM electrolyser systems for the production of green hydrogen.

Additionally, there are intentions to evaluate the feasibility of implementing large-scale green hydrogen and ammonia production in the North African country.
