Green light for $300m green hydrogen plant in Western Australia

Infinite Blue Energy (IBE) has secured funding to build a $300m green hydrogen plant in Western Australia, which the Perth-based company says will be national first.

Located 320km north of Perth, IBE’s landmark Arrowsmith Hydrogen Project will produce 25 tonnes of green hydrogen a day using solar and wind energy.

Expected to commence in June this year, the project is expected to drive significant growth in regional jobs, energy security and a considerable reduction in Western Australia’s carbon emissions.
